At this time of year, Glerárdalur valley often displays beautiful autumn colors. Cars are parked in the Sulu parking lot where the walk begins.
Walking west over the Glerá River on a footbridge between the two rivers, continuing south to the dam at the river and explored it. Cross the bridge at the dam, hike up Lambagötu and walk to the old footbridge over the Glerá and to the cars. This is a fun circular route in a beautiful valley where you walk along paths.
