Hinsegin Hrísey 2025 – Celebrating Diversity at Hrísey Pride for the Third Time
Join us as we celebrate diversity at Hrísey Pride for the third consecutive year!
Rainbow Service in Hrísey Church at 11:00 AM. Reverend Oddur Bjarni Þorkelsson will officiate, and we’ll celebrate the beauty of diversity.
Pride Parade departs from the festival area at 2:00 PM. As usual, Siggi Gunnars will be the main act on the big float, keeping the energy high.
After the Parade:
A full program continues at the festival grounds.
Siggi Gunnars will be the host.
Margrét Erla Maack and Gógó Starr, the queens from the "Kjallarakabarett" at the National Theatre Cellar, will appear alongside others in a mini drag-circus for the whole family.
Egill Andrason will perform his unique musical stylings.
A special speech will be delivered.
George Maurer, a jazz musician and pianist known for collaborations with stars like Eric Clapton, The Crickets (Buddy Holly’s band), and pop legend Bobby Vee, will perform.
Svana Dan offers friendship bracelet making at the festival grounds.
Children’s Pool Disco starts at 4:00 PM, hosted by the youth club Narfi.
Evening Kabarett Show at Sæborg – 9:00 PM:
Featuring Margrét Erla Maack, Gógó Starr, hula-hoop artist Bobbie Michelle, circus horse Nonni, and kabarett diva Daphne Always.
Note: The show is sexy and funny and not suitable for children or those uncomfortable with the wonders of the human body.
DJ Margrét Maack will play after the show.
