*KOLLAPS* is a dogma-based exhibition that treats the concept (“collapse”) as an abstract theme, but also as a material and structural limitation. All the works in the exhibition can be collapsed and then reconstituted. The works are not fixed. Instead, they take disintegration as their point of departure. Emphasis is placed on process and material possibilities rather than on honouring the static monument. The exhibition reflects on the world we live in: the political foundation is weakening, the ecological system is breaking down, infrastructure is collapsing, and cultural narratives are losing coherence. What once seemed stable reveals itself to be fragile. What remains when the systems that ground the work fall apart? What is possible when there is no lasting foundation? Rather than mourning what has collapsed, the exhibition treats collapse as a form of renewal. The works do not attempt to prevent collapse, but work with disintegration toward reconstruction. *KOLLAPS* is an exhibition that can be packed, moved, and rebuilt again and again—just like the world we live in.
