Known for her distinct interpretation of Icelandic landscapes in painting and drawing, Rebekka Kühnis focuses here entirely on geothermal springs and the broader concept of the void.

Rebekka Kühnis was born in 1976 in Windisch, Switzerland. She studied at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern, where she earned a master’s degree in Art & Education. She has since worked as an artist and teacher, participating in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Switzerland and Iceland.
