About UngRIFF
UngRIFF, a children's film festival, is held from September 24th to October 5th, in Reykjavík and around the country.
The festival offers children and young people a diverse film program from all over the world, with films that are not usually shown in Icelandic cinemas. The films deal with social, environmental and youth issues and can spark interesting discussions after the screenings. UngRIFF wants to show how filmmaking can be both a fun and educational experience. By focusing on films for young audiences, RIFF has created a platform where children and young people can experience the power of cinema and hopefully find their own voice in the world of filmmaking.
