The annual author's evening at the Amtsbókasafn will be held on Thursday, December 4th at 8:00 PM. Six authors will be attending to present their books. They are Óskar Þór Halldórsson with the book Akureyrarveikin, Nína Ólafsdóttir with the book Þú sem ert á jörðu, Þórunn Rakel Gylfadóttir with the book Mzungu, Páll Björnsson with the book Dagur þjóðar, Sesselía Ólafs with the book Silfurberg and Arna Lind Viðarsdóttir with the children's book Kvíðapúkinn.

 

There will be a pop-up café on site, but it will be run by parents of children from Þór's 8th and 9th grade basketball team who will be taking care of it in support of a training trip abroad. We warmly welcome them and hope that guests will take advantage of this to buy a coffee and something to eat while they listen to the authors.
