Jónas Þorbjarnarson poetry evening
Jónas Þorbjarnarson (1960-2012) is one of the best poets Akureyri has produced, and one of the most interesting poets of his generation. Despite being highly regarded among other poets and writers, he is little known among the public, and his poetry has not received the praise and attention it deserves. In an attempt to improve this a little, Arnar Már Arngrímsson and Þórður Sævar Jónsson will read from his work on Thursday, October 16th between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM at Svartar bækur in Akureyri. All welcome.
