Ideal for families to meet and learn about the forest and enjoy the outdoors. Háls is above the Small Museum in Saurbæ or almost 30 km south of Akureyri. Bring a picknick lunch.

 

It is best to park in the field to the south of the old farmhouse Háls, but the driveway goes past the old Saurbæjarkirkja on the north side and up the ridge. Signposts will point the way from the Museum of many small things.
