Pippi's day
A varied program will be available
Every year we have a special day to celebrate some literature, for example Harry Potter and the Moomins in recent years. On July 15, 2026, we will celebrate Pippi Longstocking on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the story last year.
Pippi hardly needs to be introduced, but she is a beloved character from Astrid Lindgren's books. Pippi is known for her red hair and braids, mismatched socks, great strength, independence and a thirst for adventure. She lives alone in her house Villa Villekulla with her monkey Mr. Nilson and her horse, who is often called Lilla gubben (little old man).
A varied program will be available; treasure hunt, sock painting, a photo booth, games for the kids, story time and more that will be announced closer to the date.
Take the day off, we look forward to seeing you!
