NB - this event is in Icelandic. We will be reading poetry, and most of it will be in Icelandic. People are very welcome, who do not speak the language well or are still learning, but we are hosting the event in Icelandic, and translating will not be possible since its mostly reading other people's poetry. We will be happy to try to explain in English, but we cannot promise that we will be very successful ;) 

First of monthly meetings in Svartar bækur antique bookstore, where we focus on poetry and poets. This time, we will read poetry by local poets, from classics to more recent work. 

Guests are very welcome to bring poetry - their own or someone else's, to read for the group.
