The musician lúpína is coming to Akureyri for a one-of-a-kind concert in Leyni’s inner hall.

Lúpína will perform raw, acoustic versions of her songs using loop technology, recording vocals, synthesizers, and piano motifs live on stage to create a unique sonic landscape in real time. Lúpína is an artist from Iceland and Norway who first emerged in the autumn of 2022 with the release of her debut single “alein”. Since then, she has captivated both Icelandic and international audiences with the releases of her albums “ringluð” in 2023 and “MARGLYTTA” in 2024, as well as performances at music festivals around the world. These include Roskilde Festival in Denmark, SXSW in Austin, Iceland Airwaves, and Kveldúlfur in Hjalteyri.

Lúpína’s music can be described as experimental art pop, with a strong emphasis on lyrics, vocal layering, and a dynamic soundscape. Today, lúpína is a rising name on the Icelandic and international music scene.
