Ari is one of Iceland’s most popular comedians, both at home and internationally. In 2020, he became the first Icelandic comedian to have a comedy special released on the American streaming service Netflix, when his show Pardon My Icelandic was made available worldwide to millions of viewers. Pardon My Icelandic won the 2021 Edda Award for Comedy Programme of the Year.

This is the tenth time Ari Eldjárn has seen out the year with his New Year’s show. It has enjoyed enormous popularity and has sold out every year. Around 20,000 people attended performances across Iceland last New Year’s season, seeing out the old year with plenty of laughter.

Every performance is unique, with a special focus on saying goodbye to the year in memorable fashion, alongside plenty of other material.
