In 2020, he became the first Icelandic comedian to have a stand-up special streamed worldwide on Netflix with Pardon My Icelandic, reaching millions of viewers. Pardon My Icelandic also won the Edda Award 2021 for Comedy Show of the Year.

This will be the ninth year Ari Eldjárn celebrates the year’s end with this show, which has become immensely popular and consistently sells out.

Last New Year, around 20,000 people attended shows across the country, laughing their way out of the old year. Each performance is unique, focusing on farewell to the year in a memorable way mixed with other fresh material.
