Bubbi Morthen's concert series is one of the most long-lived concert traditions in the run-up to Christmas, and there are many who cannot imagine Advent without them. The concert is significant for the reason that this will be the 39th time Bubbi has hosted a Þorláksmessu concert. The first concert was held at Hótel Borg in 1985.
Although the location of the concert has changed over the years, you can always count on Bubbi to show up with his guitar and his pearls of the evening's most well-known songs, anchoring and examining the contemporary world with his unique genius.
