The Akureyri Music Society presents the vocal quartet Ferund, accompanied by Eyþór Ingi Jónsson.

The concert will take place at Hamrar, Hof, on Father’s Day, 8 November, at 16:00.

All the performers are fathers themselves and warmly invite fellow fathers and their families, including mothers, children and grandparents, to join them for this special concert.

Until now, the quartet has mainly come together to sing at funerals, but this will be their first-ever standalone concert.

The programme features a selection of vocal quartet favourites from Iceland and abroad, including many well-known pieces as well as some that may be less familiar to the audience.

Performers:
1st tenor – Óskar Pétursson
2nd tenor – Jón Þorsteinn Reynisson
1st bass – Ívar Helgason
2nd bass – Pálmi Óskarsson
Piano – Eyþór Ingi Jónsson

The Akureyri Music Society would like to extend its sincere thanks to its sponsors: the Music Fund, Akureyri Municipality and Akureyri Cultural Society.
