This event has brought great success to opera festivals in Denmark and Germany, supporting Ukraine while promoting diverse and ambitious cultural activities. It features a solo opera concert where Anastasiia will sing, accompanied by Malikova Maryna, as they find their finest notes together. The program includes songs in various languages from some of the most famous operas of our time.
Anastasiia began her musical education at the age of 13 in Kyiv and has since trained extensively as an opera singer. She frequently performs concerts across Ukraine and abroad. Between 2016 and 2017, she worked at the Kyiv Conservatory of Music as a music and opera singing teacher. Since 2017, she has been a performer at the Taras Shevchenko National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kyiv, until the outbreak of war.
Her impressive resume includes numerous operas, and she holds a diploma from the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, where she graduated as a music teacher, choir director, and opera singer. In addition, Anastasiia has earned a master’s degree in Ukraine and is currently completing a second master’s degree at the Rubinstein Music Academy in Düsseldorf. During her stay in Denmark, she has performed in various venues, including Bistrup Kirke, Herning Kirke, Hune Kirke, and Musikhuset in Aalborg and Aarhus, as well as in Düsseldorf, Germany, among others.
Since fleeing the war, Anastasiia has been supported by an Icelandic friend she met in Denmark, who now lives and works in Iceland. They are working together to find a place where Anastasiia can continue to develop her artistry. She is fully interested in settling in Iceland if given the opportunity to present her art.
Anastasiia's accompanist for this event, Malikova Maryna, also hails from Ukraine. Maryna has previously accompanied Anastasiia and has experience working as an accompanist at the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University. Since the war began, she has also worked as an accompanist on cruise ships.
