It is with great pleasure that the Music Society presents the Italian guitarist Simone Salvatori. In recent years, he has won numerous prizes in international guitar competitions and built a successful career, earning critical acclaim worldwide as both a soloist and chamber musician.
In this concert, he sets the voice of the guitar against the passionate world of Italian opera, performing works by Verdi, Rossini, Puccini, and others. He weaves together the drama of opera with the lyrical qualities of the guitar, resulting in a truly captivating performance where melody, romance, and virtuosity meet.
