Karl Örvarsson, or Kalli Örvars, is one of Akureyri’s best-known figures in music and hardly needs an introduction. Now Kalli is appearing at Akureyrarvaka with what he calls “StandupSingalong.” As the title suggests, it’s a mix of stand-up comedy, impersonations, and music, where he imitates famous Icelandic pop artists and then gets the audience to sing along to their biggest hits.

It’s a brilliantly entertaining show where the audience plays a full part in the fun! So you can expect the crowd at Hamrar to enthusiastically join in with Kalli.
