Karlakór Eyjafjarðar (The Eyjafjörður Men’s Choir) celebrates its 30th anniversary with a major concert at Hof in Akureyri, with a light-hearted and entertaining selection of songs and performances taking centre stage.
The programme features songs familiar from performances by a variety of popular Icelandic bands and artists, including Gauti, Ingimar Eydal, Skriðjöklar, Greifarnir, Baraflokkurinn, Póló and Bjarki, and Magnús Eiríksson. The choir will also perform songs by Óðin Valdimarsson, Bjarni Hafþór and Eiríkur Bóasson, as well as classic choral pieces, including music from Les Misérables.
The featured soloists are acclaimed singers Magni Ásgeirsson and Snorri Snorrason, together with members of the choir.
