YOUNG COMPOSE, ADULTS PERFORM

Upptakturinn Showcase – Children and Youth Music Composition Awards

Upptakturinn gives young people the opportunity to develop their musical ideas with professional performers. This year, seven young composers worked with musician and Upptakturinn music director Greta Salóme on arranging the seven pieces that advanced in this year’s competition.

The results of their work can be seen and heard at the concert, performed by professional musicians.

The event is open to everyone, and no ticket reservation is required.
