"Ég hitti þig" is the fifth album of the singer Kristjöna Arngrímsdóttir and contains her songs to the poems of five Icelandic women, Halla Eyjólfsdóttir, Jakobína Sigurðardóttir, Lilja Sólveigar Kristjánsdóttir, Elísabeta Geirmundsdóttir and Lena Gunnlaugsdóttir as well as Davíð Stefánsson.

The music is both sultry and tropical, dramatic and somewhat similar to fado, but nevertheless a strong, national and Icelandic feel which is the main characteristic of the singer.
