Bjarki Skjóldal was born and raised in Akureyri. Born 06.08.95. Grew up on the island and went to Oddeyrskólinn and then VMA.

He has written and drawn comics since childhood, but is currently working on an illustrated children's book. He started painting a few years ago and has acquired a wide range of knowledge in courses and through distance learning. Bjarka's visual art is very thoughtful and colored by his interest in human history and human nature, but at the same time is timeless and flows like a river without a channel.

He will be showing acrylic and oil works he has done over the last few months. This is Bjarka's first solo exhibition
