Medieval Days will be held at Gásir on July 19–20. No entrance fee, but merchants will be selling goods. Everyone welcome.

• 12:45 – Presentation on making parchment for manuscript production

• 13:30 – Gásir residents perform a play

• 14:00 – Weapons and warriors – a talk on medieval weaponry and combat

• 14:45 – Dancing in medieval style

• 15:15 – How were medieval manuscripts made?

• 16:00 – Guided tour of the ancient trading site (repeat)

11:00–17:00 – Merchants selling goods. Craftspeople at work.
Archery – four arrows cost 1,000 ISK.
