Step back in time at Medieval Days at Gásir!

Join us on 18–19 July at Gásir, Iceland's historic medieval trading site, for a weekend of history, crafts, and living heritage.

Free admission (food, drinks, and handcrafted goods will be available for purchase from the merchants on site).

Medieval Days will be held at Gásir on July 18–19. No entrance fee, but merchants will be selling goods. Everyone welcome.

Enjoy a variety of activities throughout the weekend, including:
• Guided tours of the ancient trading site
• Demonstrations of parchment making and medieval manuscript production
• A play performed by the residents of Gásir
• Talks on medieval weapons and warfare
• Medieval dancing
• Craftspeople demonstrating traditional skills
• Merchants selling handcrafted goods
