We open our door at Sigurhæðir to the summer, the sun, fresh winds and everyone interested in strolling around, enjoying older and new culture and arts.

We are opening the house — an open house at Sigurhæðir — on the First Day of Summer and the following day, inviting visitors and passersby to drop in, explore, look around, chat, and enjoy the place.

There will also, of course, be a book launch on the First Day of Summer in our Pastel series from 13:00–14:00, but the house will be open from 9:00–17:00 on both days.

And it just so happens that Museum Day is on the First Day of Summer, making it ideal to stroll, drive, or cycle between the various participants and cultural sites involved.

No admission fee, and open from 9:00–17:00 both days.
