Members of the band Nanook from Greenland will perform a few of their songs, unplugged at the Akureyri Art Museum Thursday June 6th at 7:30 pm. After the concert two exhibitions will be opened at the Museum; The group exhibition Is This North? and the Fluxus project STRANDED – W(H)/ALE A REMAKE PORTFOLIO – MORE THAN THIS, EVEN.

Nanook is among the best-known music groups from Greenland and has quit a special status within the music scene in Greenland. The group members are the brothers Christian and Frederik Elser, who are composers, singers and guitar players, also drummer Martin Zinck, Andreas Otto base player and Mads Røn on keyboard.

The concert is free, as a part of Akureyri Art Festival

Nanook will play at Græni hatturinn on Friday June 8th at 9 pm.
