Pétur Ben will perform at Græni Hatturinn in Akureyri on July 9th as a part of his summer-tour.

Pétur Ben’s music ranges from minimal contemporary folk songs to indie rock. Pétur recently released the album Painted Blue, which was nominated for Best Album at the 2026 Icelandic Music Awards. He is known for his unique and gripping concerts, where he intertwines his own complex songs with his personal take on his favorite covers.
