We invite children and their parents to an open workshop at Amtsbókasadnið on October 1st, from 16:30 to 18:30.

 

"The Sea Monster Cage" (Sæskrímslabúrið) is an interactive experience for children. They are encouraged to learn about Icelandic sea monsters, express their fears through art, and then release those feelings through dramatic expression.

 

The project is a collaboration with the Fjarðabyggð Department of Culture and has received support from the Children's Culture Fund.

 

We encourage you to travel to the event in an eco-friendly way. Bicycle racks are available at the library, and bus travel is free; all buses stop in the town center, just 300 meters from the library.
