The Akureyri Trio performs songs about passionate Icelandic rural romance, nature, infidelity, horses, dancing, and life at sea!

The Akureyri Trio consists of Jón Þorsteinn Reynisson (accordion player), Valmar Vaeljaots (actor and all-around performer), and Erla Dóra Vogler (singer).

Guests can enjoy food and/or drinks while listening and swaying along, as they wish, to our wonderful Icelandic (and Icelandic-adapted) popular songs—music that soothes the soul like malt drink and smoked lamb. The songs once performed so beautifully by Haukur Morthens, Villi Vill, Erla Þorsteins, and many others come to life once again.

The concert takes place at Ketilkaffi in the Akureyri Art Museum.
