Where does our food come from?

Week 17 is the international SDG week in libraries. To mark the week, various events related to the SDGs will be on the agenda of libraries across the country.

The project originated in Denmark, but today almost 200 libraries from 10 different countries are participating. The goal is to raise awareness of the 17 SDGs through a variety of events and show that we can all do our part.

This year's theme of the week focuses on goal 2 No Hunger, and special emphasis is therefore placed on projects related to food.

 

We encourage you to attend the event in an environmentally friendly manner. Akureyri bus system is free and all buses stop in the city center 300 meters from the library.
