FFA trip to Súlur, the town mountain of Akureyri. The hike follows a marked and fairly easy trail up the mountain. From the summit of Súlur there are magnificent views. Hiking gear should be suited to trail conditions and weather.

Note: In winter and early spring, hiking Súlur is more demanding than in summer and is therefore rated as a 3-boot hike at this time of year. The same route is used on the return.
