The Summer & Beer Festival LYST will take place on July 17–19, 2026, in the Akureyri Botanical Garden 

On Saturday, July 18, breweries will be hosting open taps at LYST from 1:00–6:00 PM, where guests can sample a wide variety of beers in an amazing atmosphere. This is the day when people come together to enjoy summer, great drinks, and the unique vibe that only the Botanical Garden can offer.

In the evening, the festival continues with concerts and nightlife, featuring live music and more beer.

Throughout the weekend, there will also be additional events connected to the beer festival, both before and after Saturday, including special events, food, drinks, and festival-style experiences.
