Come and create beautiful spring birds from Icelandic wool in a warm and creative felting workshop for children and young people aged 6–18. The workshop is led by artist and primary school art teacher Louise Harris in collaboration with Gundega Skela, teacher and researcher based in Akureyri.

Participants will explore wool felting as a creative hands-on practice and use colorful wool fibers to shape their own spring bird. The workshop emphasizes creativity, practical learning, a welcoming atmosphere, and a contemporary connection to Iceland’s wool heritage.
