When the book is opened, a fascinating world appears and the story comes to life.

The Magic Books is a puppet theater for the yongest generation.

It is shown in the Theater in Möðruvellir Hörgárdal every Sunday at 2 pm.

The first story is the Tale of Gýpa

Gýpa is exceptionally voracious, and it´s a wonder that she hasn´t eaten every bit of food from other familiemembers. When the food runs out, she eats her ash, a man and a woman in the hut, and the cow Kreppilhyrna. Then she heads off to look for more food. Who would be so unlucky as to be in her way ?
