UngDans Akureyri will perform parts of their new dance work, premiering at Deiglan on August 27th. At Akureyrarvaka, the dancers will perform two different parts of the work in town centrum, at 16:00 and 19:45.

The work was created in August under the artistic direction of choreographer Ólöf Óskar Þorgeirsdóttir. It is a dynamic and lively piece where humour, groove and different characters come to life. The work builds on the dancers’ individual strengths, technique and experience.

UngDans Akureyri is a new youth dance company by Danssetrið for dancers aged 16–25.
