The stand-up show “Is This Supposed to Be Funny?” with local performers returns — for the third time!
A group of locals takes the microphone and invites guests to an evening where we laugh together at life, everyday moments, relationships, society, and all the things that become a little more bearable when we’re allowed to joke about them.
This time, we’ll be at Vitinn in collaboration with Listasumar in Akureyri. The house opens at 8:00 PM, so we recommend arriving early. Last time, the venue was full an hour before the show, and fewer people got in than wanted to. The show starts at 9:00 PM, and admission is free thanks to Listasumar and the Municipality of Akureyri. The event is in icelandic.
Taking the stage:
Þórhallur Guðmundsson
Snæfríður Ingadóttir
Baddi Ingimarsson
Svava Björk Ólafsdóttir
Egill Bjarni Friðjónsson
Hannes Bjarni Hannesson
The evening will be a mix of fresh stand-up, personal reflections, awkward moments, and possibly a few stories that maybe should have stayed tucked away in locked drawers.
Come join us at Vitinn — let’s support local performers on stage and have a good laugh together.
Is this supposed to be funny?
We’re going to try, at least.
