LYST & UFA Winter Run
The final winter run with LYST!
Join us for the last run of the season, where the vibe takes center stage – open to everyone, whether you’re taking your first steps or are an experienced runner.
We’ll meet on Wednesday, March 25 at 17:30 at LYST in Lystigarðurinn and run together around Akureyri.
After the run, enjoy a cozy atmosphere inside LYST with
hot chocolate, fish soup, and bread courtesy of ORKUSÖLUNN.

Running Route:
Meet at Lystigarðurinn by LYST, where the run starts heading west. Take the trail west, exit through the green gate, then turn immediately south toward SAK. Continue down the parking lot by SAK, then down Eyrarlandsveg along Lystigarðurinn, past MA to Hrafnagilsstræti. Turn left, go up Hrafnagilsstræti to Þórunnarstræti, then turn left again. Run south to the path along the MA/VMA dormitory, turn left onto it, take a 90-degree turn on the walking paths, and finally run through the park back to the LYST café. Repeat the loop.
