Science workshops for children aged 8-12

Science workshops for children aged 8-12

One science workshop per month, five workshops in total.
From September to January, Audrey Louise Matthews, assistant professor at the University of Akureyri, plans to hold science workshops for children aged 8-12 one Saturday a month. Each workshop has a different theme. Audrey is extremely fun and knowledgeable about the various aspects of science. The workshops are mostly conducted in English. Participation is free.
The project is funded by the Children's Cultural Foundation of Iceland.
Only 10 children can attend each workshop, so it's a good idea to register your little scientists early. Registration takes place entirely through the email address eydisk@amtsbok.is
