Artist Unnur Stella Níelsdóttir invites the public to participate in a creative workshop at Start Stúdíó, located at Gránufélagsgata 4 in Akureyri.

The workshop is open to everyone, free of charge, and supported by Akureyri Art Summer.

Over Food is a participatory art project in which participants come together to paint objects related to food, dining, and shared meals. The project explores how different people experience and interpret the same objects in different ways, and how visual art can create a space for dialogue and shared understanding.

During the workshop, participants will work with themes connected to food culture, togetherness, and everyday life. The resulting artworks will form a diverse collection that reflects the different perspectives, experiences, and voices within the community.

Everyone is welcome, and no prior artistic experience is required.
