Salsa North offers guests of Glerártorg a short salsa dance lesson between 8:00 PM and 8:15 PM and bachata dance lesson between 8:15 PM and 8:30 PM.

The goal is to raise awareness of the Dekurdagar cause and at the same time introduce Salsa North's activities to the town's residents.

Salsa North offers dance evenings at Vamos every other Thursday between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM. An overview of the dance evenings can be found on the event calendar at Halló Akureyri: https://www.visitakureyri.is/is/vidburdadagatal 

On October 25th, Salsa North offers a salsa course for beginners in collaboration with Sigló Hotel. All information can be found on the hotel's website: https://www.keahotels.is/is/siglo-hotel/salsa-namskeid 

On November 17th, a 4-week beginner's course in bachata will begin.

In early January 2026, a beginner's course in salsa will begin again.
