Akureyri Flower Car

The flower Car departs at Naustaskóli, stops at all of Akureyri‘s elementary schools and will be at the Botenical garden around 12.00. 

Parade organized by the Scout Associaton Klakkur and Akureyri Trumpet band.

Let‘s celebrate Iceland‘s National Day by going to the parade witch starts at the old Householding School by Þórunnarstræti and continues south towards the Botenical Garden where the official celebration will be. Map of the parade‘s route can be found HERE.

Go sailing with Húni II
17.00

Join the fun on sea by going for a short sailing trip with Húni. Notice that the boat has a limit of 80 passengers and it will be on first come first served bases. The ship will sail from the port „Fiskihöfn“, east of Hagkaup grocery store.
