Easter 2023 will be from April 6 (Baptism Day) to April 10 (Easter Monday).
To make the visit as pleasant as possible, it is important to prebook restaurants and entertainment as well as culture events where possible. Many restaurants also offer take-away. Opportunities for outdoor activities are numerous. There are various hiking trails, in and around the town , you can go hiking in Kjarnaskógur woods where there are great playgrounds and fun hiking trails.. For Alpine skiing visit Mt. Hlíðarfjall, you can ski down the slopes on skis, boards or cross-country skis. There is always plenty to do in is also popular and many opportunities in the mountains and valleys around the town.
