Trails freshly groomed

Kjarnaskógur is a small forest located just a 5-minute drive from the center of Akureyri and is one of the town’s most popular recreational areas. The forest features playgrounds, cross-country and hiking trails, and a sledding hill called Hoppsa Bomm. All trails have recently been freshly groomed, so grab your shoes or cross-country skis and enjoy the beautiful weather!
