Santas, family time and carols.
Christmas in Innbæn attracts deserved attention these days. The flora of the museum reaches far and wide, even to the mountains. It has been heard that some of the Santa Clauses from Dimmuborg in Mývatnsveit are going to stop by the Museum on Saturday to both look at the exhibits and sing.
Nonnahús has been dressed up for Christmas and Þórgunnur Þórsdóttir, museum teacher, will lead a family session in Nonnahús. Children from kindergartens and primary schools have been flocking there for the past few weeks. Maybe they want to visit with their parents?
At the Minjasafnin there are some unknown Santa Clauses and the Christmas mountain that you can peek into and see Grýla and Leppalúd's home and their many children. In the music show, Eik Haraldsdóttir is going to lead a singing session before the Santa Clauses appear.
The family lesson in Nonnahús starts at 1 p.m., the singing lesson at 13:45 and the Santa Clauses look around afterwards.
There is no entry fee for the events sponsored by the SSNE Development Fund.
